- Responsible for delivery of integration solutions to internal and external systems.
- Responsible for impact analysis, architecture, solutioning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of current system
- Comply with the software development process, and deliver the required documents and specs.
- Responsible for code review, non-functional test to ensure good quality of the delivery.
- Identify, review and present input on project activities and plans.
- Lead a team to conduct feasibility studies on various technology and services options, and recommend appropriate solutions to meet business and security requirements
- Provide technical guidance and ensure the solution aligned with IT strategy
- Lead a team on system support, enhancement and new projects
- Maintain and enhance existing regional JEE application
- Take ownership of the overall architecture framework and design of the application across regional deployments
- Understanding stakeholders' business needs and priorities and able to relate to other concerns and objectives and accommodate into own work priorities
- Translate user's requirements into technical specifications
- Degree holder in software engineering/computer science, certified Java / Oracle Professional is preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in design, development and implementation of software solutions based on J2EE and Microsoft platform
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Java Open source frameworks, e.g. Spring, Struts, Hibernate, etc.
- Proven record of high-quality work in compliance with IT work process and audit requirements.
- Involvement in full SDLC.
- Led a team in design and development of system implementation
- Experience and/or knowledge in financial or insurance industry is an added advantage
- Proficient in web application development using Java technology
- Proficient in PL/SQL, Oracle Database, Oracle SSO, Oracle HTTP Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS
- Proficient in Database Design and analysis
- Proficient in below technical skills: Java, JSP, HTML, Javascript, Ajax, Spring, Hibernate, Jasper, Microsoft .Net, SAP Crystal report, JSTL, Struts, Hibernate, XSLT, XML, MDB, JDBC, JMS and Ant
- Experience (but not limited to) with Working knowledge with Jakarta Commons, SFTP, JDOM, SSO, MQ, Message Broker, Solaris
- Can-do working attitude and able to work under pressure and tight timeline.
