We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer/Project Manager.
Located on-site in Port Hueneme, CA.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost-constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in an applicable Engineering, Mathematics, Scientific, or Technology discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of Systems Engineering/Project Management experience with Navy Weapon/Combat Stems and associated equipment, demonstrating experience and ability to meet the following job description requirements:
- Test, install, operate, and maintain diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems.
- Engineering analysis including risk analysis and risk management.
- Model and develop computer-based simulations.
- Investigate and resolve obsolescence issues.
- Lead a team on the most complex engineering assignments.
- Develop of written and oral technical reports.
Skills and Abilities:
- One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.

- Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
