NuBinary is a leading technology consulting firm working with Startups, Scale-Ups and SMBs all across North America. We provide fractional CTO, tech leadership consulting, coaching, training and product development services to our clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Tech Lead / Full-Stack Software Engineer at NuBinary located in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves software architectural design, translating client business requirements into product features, leading technical teams, overseeing and contributing to software development projects and coaching other software development team members. The majority of our software development projects are implemented in Ruby on Rails and React and past experience with these frameworks is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Ruby on Rails or similar MVC frameworks such as Django or Express.js.

  • Past experience with React.js

  • Experience with relational/SQL databases

  • Fluency in Git and software life cycle management

  • Demonstrated experience as a team lead or technical lead

  • Proficiency in full-stack software development

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Be a human - type "not a bot" into any of the boxes

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • Previous experience in tech startup environments is a plus
