Description

About the Team

Fulfillment Execution (FX) re-imagines and re-architects outbound fulfillment so customers receive items as quickly as possible at the lowest cost. We build advanced capabilities to fully automate systems and processes at the scale of billions of packages to millions of addresses worldwide.

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager in FX, you will bridge our inventory and capacity platforms with customer-facing programs (grocery, speed offerings), driving insights from programs back into platform development. This is an inherently cross-functional role spanning engineering, operations, finance, and business teams—both local and remote.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities

- Gather business and systems requirements from internal customers across Amazon
- Conceptualize solutions, author specifications, and define project scope
- Drive end-to-end delivery—from design through release and post-launch support
- Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize release schedules and outcomes
- Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to partner teams

What we're looking for

- Strong program management background with demonstrated experience leading medium-to-large, technically complex projects
- Well-rounded technical foundation in current technologies, comfortable with scripting, querying large datasets and in general operating in quantitative, data-driven domains, with as well as without the aid of GenAI.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity—navigating competing priorities with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Curiosity and a bias toward thinking big on behalf of customers and sellers

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of statistics, economics, operational research or AI, ideally with applicable coursework or certification
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering
