About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Location: San Francisco/Palo Alto, CA or Bellevue/Seattle, WA
The Experience

Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a meaningful role at Salesforce, leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Technology & Products organizations. TPMs own programs from beginning to end, driving better workflow and more effective communication. They work closely with executives and key partners to move critical programs and activities forward across the company.

Senior Technical Program Managers in Trust & Infrastructure lead strategic technology programs that drive transformation to Hyperforce, Salesforce's infrastructure product built on third-party substrates like AWS and GCP. This person partners with program leadership teams to drive cross-functional and cross-domain planning and execution across multiple clouds — Engineering, Customer Enablement, Legal, and Product — to deliver key business value. This role has a specific mandate to elevate the developer experience across Trust & Infrastructure — ensuring every safety and compliance investment we make also removes friction and unlocks velocity for the engineers who build on our platform.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with mission-critical deliverables and a steady stream of unforeseen challenges. Communication, coordination, organization, leadership, flexibility, and ownership are key to succeeding in this role. This is an individual contributor role suited to someone who thrives in a culture of ownership, delivery, and innovation.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
  • Drive developer experience programs that pair safety/compliance requirements with measurable productivity gains — e.g., reducing time-to-merge, cutting manual toil, or improving self-service tooling adoption — so trust and velocity reinforce each other rather than trade off.
  • Partner with Developer Tools, Platform, and Engineering teams to identify and eliminate friction points in the inner/outer development loop, translating developer feedback into prioritized program roadmaps.
  • Lead programs by aligning on scope and release planning, uniting teams around vision and business goals, and securing cross-functional alignment.
  • Drive Steering Committee meetings with key partners to make decisions, remove obstacles, and address program issues, ensuring business goals are met.

You're Our Person If...

  • You have 8+ years of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
  • You have 5+ years leading SaaS product development programs, with a demonstrated understanding of the SaaS business model and product development lifecycle.
  • You have deep experience with the software development lifecycle and can apply agile methodologies in a dynamic environment.
  • You have experience driving developer-facing programs or tooling initiatives, and you think in terms of developer experience metrics (adoption, cycle time, satisfaction) as much as program milestones.

Even Better If...

  • You have experience with Portfolio Management.
  • You can quickly master new technical subjects and technologies relevant to a program.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of hands-on, detail-oriented execution.
  • You've worked on programs balancing security/compliance mandates with developer productivity — you know how to make "safe" and "fast" the same thing, not a tradeoff.

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
