Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate With Clients And Team Members To Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions, Understanding Design Specifications, Identifying Performance Concerns, And Ensuring Appropriate Test Environments Using Python-Based Testing Frameworks Are Maintained And Optimized.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices In Python And Automation Frameworks To Enhance The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of The Testing Process.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Python And Relevant Libraries, Ensuring Consistency And Alignment With Quality Standards To Minimize Exposure To Defects.
4. Develop And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Effective Use Of The Python Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Team Productivity.
Skill Requirements
5+ years of experience in Device testing, Embedded testbed bring-up
• Excellent experience in Embedded testing and usage of oscilloscopes, multimeter, logical analyzers
• Good experience in Test principles, test driven development, test automation and writing test cases.
• Excellent knowledge in Python and experience in developing end to end automation framework using Python
• Working knowledge of using version control tools, popular IDEs like PyCharm, Jenkins job configuration, etc. is must.
• Ability to work across Windows, Linux is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
