Job Description:
As a part of a dynamic team provide support for the research, development, and technology services necessary to support scientific and technological innovation in a variety of technical disciplines encompassed within Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform software and algorithm development for analysis and application of machine learning techniques for large and small data sets
- Research new ways to analyze and visualize large, complex distributed data sets potentially utilizing both low level (C, C++, etc) and high level (Python, etc.) programming languages, and scalable algorithm implementations (pthreads, message passing interface (MPI), OpenCL, etc.)
- Develop and apply Machine Learning Techniques and Algorithms to Army relevant problems while addressing common data issues such as sparce or incomplete data
Basic Qualifications:
- Active government security clearance
- BS degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Information Science, or Mathematics
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Six (6) years of research or technical experience in a field relevant to COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, COMPUTERS, COMBAT SYSTEMS, INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONAISSANCE (C5ISR) requirements. OR
- Three (3) years of directly related technical experience in support of the Required: US Citizen/ Secret Clearance task specific project.
Certification Requirement:
Completion of one of the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties:
Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).ICF is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
