Software Cloud Engineer

Overview We are seeking a full-time Software Cloud Engineer at our Company Boulder, CO location specifically for enabling the Company Pay feature on Company's wearable devices. Company Pay is a contactless payment solution designed for people who are always on the move. Whether you grab a cup of coffee after your morning run or get a bite to eat while out on a ride, Company Pay lets you make purchases quickly and almost effortlessly with nothing needed but your watch. No wallet? No phone? No problem. Responsibilities Essential Functions Work with product teams around the world to increase adoption of the Company Pay feature Design and implement new APIs for the Company Pay feature and other NFC related products Collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions Use a variety of problem-solving techniques to identify and correct software issues Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problems Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, and offer suggestions to improve processes May perform as a technical leader or Lead Software Engineer for a derivative software project Participate in the production releases of software on an agile sprint cadence Support the Company Pay production environment Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science,Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Math, Physics or related field AND a minimum of 1 year relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess a minimum 1 year of work experience Must demonstrate proficiency and possess experience necessary to develop moderately complex software in Java or other selected languages Demonstrates mastery of relevant software engineering tools (configuration management systems, build processes, debuggers, emulators, simulators and logic analyzers Desired Qualifications Spring/SpringBoot Spring WebFlux Experience with AWS or other cloud solutions Kotlin Proficiency in Postgres ELK Stack Company International is an equal opportunity employer.
