About this Role
What you’ll do
- Develop well-structured, maintainable, and well-documented code in line with organisational standards
- Document system enhancements and technical changes
- Collaborate effectively with a distributed, international team across different time zones
- Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines
- Plan and manage delivery of agreed objectives, milestones, and outputs
- Ensure software meets initial requirements, covering implementation and continuous integration
- Provide accurate time and effort estimates for technical deliverables
- Support developed solutions at Level 3, ensuring stability and performance
Who you are
- Experience (minimum 2 years) in software development using technologies such as Java Enterprise, Spring, Spring Boot
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Foundational knowledge of the software development lifecycle (development, testing, integration)
- Knowledge of relational database design and data normalisation
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Awareness of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, XML, and web services
- Exposure to relational and non-relational databases
- Basic knowledge of Linux (administration, scripting) is advantageous
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum) is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in English (B2 or higher); additional languages are advantageous
- Interest in internet technologies, mobile applications, and communication systems
