Essential Duties:
- Maintain current CompTIA Security +
- Software Developer/Analyst duties using, but not limited to: Microsoft Visual Studio 2012, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Designer, BizAgi Process Modeler, ESRI ArcGIS for Desktop and Server with programming Languages: C#, VB, .NET, Python
- Support design, development, testing, and documentation of data visualization software (including but not limited to 2D, 3D, scientific, and real-time), systems evolution, and inclusion of new technologies.
- Support design, development, testing, and documentation of control systems for visualization tools and scenario management.
- Incorporate geospatial products and standards in data visualization software and documentation, including but not limited to Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
- Support design of interfaces and services to external user systems using industry-standard integration, test processes, and procedures.
- Support documentation, evaluation, and integration of interfaces and services to external user systems using industry-standard integration, test processes, and procedures.
Minimum Experience, Education, and Certification:
- Active Top Secret
- Security + certification
- 3+ years in application programming
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate a computer and other office productivity machineries, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with end-users, Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time.
Work Environment:
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead waist level from the floor), bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use; frequently fast-paced environment.
