The Opportunity
 

Unity is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Software Developer to be part of our Release Quality Tools Team. This team is responsible for a number of key internal and external tools and systems. We directly support Unity customers, particularly in the area of bug reporting workflows, as well as internal developers, by collecting and integrating quality and risk data. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in developing and maintaining tools that are at the centre of critical operations, as well as a passion for improving developer workflows and software quality.
 

What you will be doing

• Working on key tools that are critical to internal and external customers

• Contribute to the planning of future software projects that are key to the success of our customers

• Engage with other teams at Unity who are all working towards improving the quality of our live releases and our customer experience

• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

• Mindfully applying AI analysis to data sets to extract quality and risk signal

What we’re looking for

• Excellent written / spoken communication in English

• Solid foundations in C# / .NET

• Understanding of fundamentals of data management - databases and APIs for migration, transformation, and storage, as well as an interest in applying AI tools to analyse data

• Committed to quality and future-proofing through documentation and effective unit testing

• Passion, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn

You might also have

• Kubernetes / Docker knowledge

• Experience with a frontend framework, e.g. Blazor, WPF, Avalonia

• Experience using the Unity Editor or other game development experience

Salary range:29,000EUR - 36,200EUR per year

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
