Position Overview:
As an SDET, you would partner with software developers to create and code tests during product development. With your extensive technical expertise and judgement, you would be an integrated part of the software development team and lead initiatives to define, document, analyse, perform, and automate tests for products in both individual and technical leadership roles.
Key responsibilities:
To mitigate potential quality risks throughout SDLC process through pragmatic test coverage
Create repeatability in testing through automation that enable and validate high quality releases at a fast pace rough automation that enable and validate high quality releases at a fast pace
Identify functional /non-functional issues and come up with creative resolutions.
Actively engage with cross function teams to enable delivery through good planning, proactive communication and timely execution
Requirements:
Must be extremely passionate about quality engineering role, with strong technical background, detail driven having excellent problem solving abilities and communication skills
1 to 10 years of experience working as a quality engineer, preferably with product development companies
Experience with distributed systems or web applications & Internet technology stack
Experience and understanding of lean quality processes in agile development ecosystems
Strong coding/ automation experience (Java/Python/Ruby etc.)
Experience working on Linux based environments.
Experience in test automation tools like junit, testng, phpunit, webdriver, jmeter, SoapUI etc
Experience setting up Continuous Integration/Delivery systems (nice to have)
Working knowledge with any non-functional automation stack like ApacheBench, jmeter etc
BE/B Tech/ME/MS/M Tech. in Computers Science or related fields
