Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build web and mobile applications for field operations and workforce management.
- Develop features related to attendance, deployment, work verification, issue management, and operational dashboards.
- Build reliable offline-first solutions for low-bandwidth environments.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Develop and maintain databases, data pipelines, and analytics systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, deployments, and production support.
- Continuously improve system reliability, monitoring, and automation.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with Django or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar databases.
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building mobile-first or offline-first applications.
- Startup experience.
- Experience working on field operations, logistics, marketplaces, or agritech platforms.
