Job Description
Software Development Engineer (SDE) – Band 4A
Role Summary
As a Software Development Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable enterprise software products. You will work closely with experienced engineers to build cloud-native applications, develop high-quality code, and continuously improve engineering practices.
Experience
- Fresh graduate (B.Tech/M.Tech) from IIT or equivalent Tier-1 institute.
- Strong academic foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Internship or project experience in software development is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code using modern programming languages.
- Participate in application design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Build APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Write unit tests and support automation efforts.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Continuously learn new technologies, frameworks, and engineering best practices.
