QSR Automations is looking for a Senior Software Engineer!
Job Summary:
QSR Automations has an immediate opening for the role of Senior Software Engineer in Louisville, KY or remote. This role will report directly to the manager of software development and is responsible for development of QSR Automations product features and capabilities. This position will be building, coding, and implementing software evaluation test programs. Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly. Tweaking the software testing systems for maximum performance. Finalizing and documenting testing procedures.
What you will be doing:
- Work in an agile team to design, implement and test product features, fixes, and improvements
- Work with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are appropriately defined
- Provide technical guidance and reviews for other team members to ensure high-quality, performant and maintainable code
- Create appropriate developer-level documentation, to maintain consistent designs and support maintenance efforts
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of QSR’s robust product portfolio
- Research new tools and technologies for use within the organization
- Work with DevOps and the team to identify and resolve production issues
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement in technology and processes
What skills & experience you’ll bring to us:
Required:
- 5+ years of professional development experience in C# and .NET
- Professional experience developing web applications using HTML, JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience developing with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Postgres
- Experience with cloud-based web applications or web services (any cloud provider is acceptable, prefer AWS)
- Experience with the use of RESTful API’s
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Comfortable supporting and maintaining existing applications, in addition to doing new development
- Able to guide problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts
- Able to work with minimal guidance to complete tasks
Desired:
- Experience with any or all the following: data pipeline platforms, ETL, ELT, data processing and storage architecture for warehousing / reporting / analytics
- Experience with a front-end framework such as Vue (preferred), React or Angular
- Familiar with multiple unit testing and automated testing frameworks
- Experience developing/maintaining applications deployed with Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with .NET Core 6.x
- Experience with distributed message queueing
- Experience working on an Agile team

- Full-time, salaried position
- Regular M-F business hours
- Based out of our Louisville, Kentucky headquarters, hybrid/virtual
- Minimal travel required
