We're looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to build and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for our enterprise applications. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver features that solve real problems for our users.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into high-quality, accessible code
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with unit and integration tests
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning
- Collaborate with backend teams to define and consume RESTful APIs
- Implement responsive designs that work across devices and screen sizes
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and UI bugs
- Contribute to shared component libraries and design systems
- Stay current with frontend technologies, tooling, and best practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Exposure to micro-frontend architecture or independently deployed frontend modules.
- Experience with at least one major framework: React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Familiarity with state management patterns (Redux, NgRx, Pinia, or similar)
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) or CSS-in-JS solutions
- Understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming
- Experience with build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar)
- Knowledge of version control with Git
- Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)Exposure to micro-frontend architecture or independently deployed frontend modules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or Testing Library)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architectures
- Experience with design systems or component libraries (Storybook, Material UI, etc.)
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, caching)
- Exposure to server-side rendering (Next.js, Nuxt.js) or static site generation
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
