We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join the M3 BE Manufacturing team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance and support of the M3 Manufacturing solution, working closely with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Engineers and other development teams. You will help deliver high-quality solutions that support customer business processes while contributing to product enhancements, AI-driven initiatives, product agents, and ongoing innovation within the Manufacturing area.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Design, develop, test and maintain functionality within the M3 Manufacturing product area.
- Investigate and resolve product defects, customer-reported issues, and support incidents.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers and other development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of AI-driven capabilities and agents.
- Develop clean, efficient and maintainable code following established development standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing and support end-to-end testing activities to ensure product quality.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements and contribute to solution design discussions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, development efficiency, and customer value.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and long-term product sustainability.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with Java development and object-oriented programming principles.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with relational databases and database query languages.
- Experience using version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn complex business processes and enterprise software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing or supporting enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, manufacturing processes, supply chain, or business applications.
- Experience with cloud technologies and modern development tools.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development, automation, or agent-based solutions.
- Experience working in an Agile product development environment.
