Infor is hiring a Software Engineer (Cloud) with an Automation & Infrastructure focus to help build, automate, and operate the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power an enterprise-grade Security Token Service platform within Infor OS. This platform provides Single Sign-On and token-based authentication and authorization across a large ecosystem of cloud applications. The role focuses on reliable, secure, and repeatable delivery across the platform's environments and contributes to overall platform stability, operational health, and ongoing modernization efforts.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources to support scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Support deployments and builds across the platform's environments, keeping delivery predictable and low-risk.
- Help maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Contribute to production monitoring and operational health, helping surface and resolve issues as they arise.
- Partner with developers, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver on shared goals.
- Look for opportunities to improve tooling, automation, and engineering practices over time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, IAM, KMS, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudWatch).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployment models.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation/Terraform).
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps best practices.
- Experience collaborating with a global team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scripting and automation experience; working knowledge of Java / Spring Boot backend services is a plus for supporting builds and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and multi-tenant architectures.
- Familiarity with observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) and SRE/operational discipline.
- Experience with security and compliance requirements in cloud environments (encryption, secrets management, etc.).
