Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Software Engineer I to join our growing engineering team. In this entry-level role, you will work alongside experienced developers to design, build, and support innovative software solutions for Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems. You will have the opportunity to contribute to containerized systems, full-stack web services, and CI/CD pipelines while developing your technical expertise in a collaborative environment.
Education & Experience Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Qualifications You Must Have
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Ireland without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Programming Languages: Experience with Java, C++, or Python.
Containerization: Experience working on containerized systems and architecture.
Development: Experience in performing full-stack web services development.
Operations: Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Skills We Value
Experience working on relational databases.
Experience working on HTTP/REST APIs.
Experience with Python-based web server technologies (Flask, FastAPI).
Experience with Java Spring Boot.
Experience with the Qt framework.
Familiarity with geospatial computation/GIS.
