Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages C++, JavaScript, Java, Objective-C.
- 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience in backend coding languages such as GOLang, Rust, or Java.
- Experience in ML model coding languages (e.g., Python).

Responsibilities
- Implement YouTube Frontend using TypeScript and specific frameworks and implementing backend services (C++).
- Design, plan, execute and track the assigned work and collaborate cross functionally with Product Managers and UX Designers.
- Participate in the entire life-cycle, including logging, metrics, launch preparation, and launch monitoring, and enable AI-first features and platform improvements.
- Contribute to features and platform improvements in a multi-skill team touching backend, Web, Android, and iOS code, including potentially mobile native work (Android/Java or iOS/Objective-C).
