Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Abilities/ Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus
- The candidate will have experience as a CI/CD Engineer for Java/Spring Boot applications.
- Experience with development automation tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab, Sonarqube, and Gradle.
- Experience developing and deploying enterprise Java applications with database and JMS interfaces in cloud environments, such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Able to learn and apply automated build, test, and deployment capabilities for a scrum team.
- Demonstrated configuration management (CM) skills to optimize release cycles.
- Experience with monitoring tools, including AppD, Splunk, and Grafana.
- Familiar with legacy Weblogic/Java applications and deployment techniques.
- Knowledge of app security best practices.
