Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Three (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent * in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment., in lieu of a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience. Must have 1 year experience with the following: IBM WebSphere Integration Developer, IBM DataPower, IIB (Integration Bus)- ESQL; CA Layer 7; Webservices (SOAP and REST); source code control management (subversion (SVN), GitHub); API Design (Swagger UI); XSLT, XML,HTML, Application Testing Tools: Postman, SoapUI, XML SPY; Splunk (log Aggregation ). More advanced degrees may offset related experience requirements. Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. Eligible for telecommuting from home within commuting distance from Cedar Park, TX.
