Our team, Agentic Creation – TikTok Effect Platform (TTEP) nurtures TikTok's global ceration ecosystem by covering TikTok creation businesses across the creation tools, website and TikTok app. We are responsible for creator's acquisition, activation, retention and we establish the whole platform with multiple key modules, e.g. rewards, inspiration, activity, analytics and badge, inside the major landing scenarios mentioned above. What's more, we are actively building AI agents along with operation platform and supporting key agentic product iterations to improve operational efficiency and the overall experience in creation. As a software engineer at TTEP, you will participate in fullstack systems that include large‑scale frontend, backend, big data pipelines and AI Agent infrastructure. You will closely work with product managers, product ops and data scientists on project delivery and make contributions to business metrics, not limited to publish rate, viral supply and creator retention.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.
Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in team's creator-facing product features, develop projects end-to-end from frontend to backend and big data, while secure compliance and fund safety.
- Participate in the team's core agentic business, deliver high impactful AI agents on trend discovery, personalization signal and creator to support both product and operation requirements for better viral creation supplies.
- Evolve agentic architectures not limited to agent servers, prompt managements, skill workflows, MCP tool establishments and knowledge base solutions.
- Partner with cross functional teams e.g. product, operation, data science and engineering teams to translate business goals into measurable engineering efforts and deliver the best usability experience for external global creators.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or master’s program in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Available to work for 12 weeks in Summer 2027
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, fluent in any one of the following mainstream programming languages: Golang, JavaScript, C/C++ or Python
- Passionate about agentic systems and have basic knowledge of LLM, prompts, skills, MCPs etc.
- Good product sense and cross‑functional communication skills to align PMs, Ops, designers and other xFN stakeholders on technical trade‑offs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have background in UGC platforms, experience delivering designer‑facing platforms at TikTok scale.
- Experience in backend and big data development.
- Experience in building Agent / LLM orchestration systems in production and familiarity with vector-based knowledge base solutions and RAG patterns.
