Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer with an active security clearance (TS/SCI with a polygraph) to support a mission-critical contract delivering a broad range of AI/ML-driven capabilities, advanced tools, and data engineering services.

Typical responsibilities include analyzing user requirements; designing software architectures and system components; developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

In this role, you will apply software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle while staying current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and AI/ML advancements to drive continuous innovation. You may also provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the full software engineering lifecycle, from concept and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and sustainment, leveraging experience within the Sponsor's environment.
  • Applying advanced knowledge of the Sponsor's policies, procedures, technical standards, and engineering methodologies to develop secure, scalable, and mission-focused solutions.
  • Developing automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices that improve software quality, increase efficiency, and reduce repetitive tasks for developers and end users.
  • Integrating AI/ML capabilities into analytic workflows and software applications to enhance mission performance and decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in software design patterns, version control systems, agile methodologies, and software quality assurance, enabling them to develop and deliver secure, high-quality software solutions that address user needs and advance mission objectives. An understanding of the Sponsor's computing environment, technology ecosystem, and software applications, along with a proven track record of implementing AI/ML capabilities in production environments, is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications

  • AWS Certification, including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification.
