Task Description
- Design and develop software applications for our customers in the fields of digital products, green coding / sustainability, evaluation and development of AI copilots for software development, connected and self-driving cars, Internet of Things, in-car-app development, digital twin, modern medical technology and digitalization.
- Work on pathbreaking applications such as tangible digital products, networked and automated driving, the Internet of Things, Car2Car communication, the digital city, virtualized medical technology, and the digitization of our customers’ development processes.
- Actively improve our software development process, and contribute your implementations to deliverables as part of an agile team.
- Realize industrial and research-driven projects from the initial idea to the concept phase and implementation up to the point of validation and rollout with our customers.
- Coordinate our interdisciplinary projects in close cooperation with our customers.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree with top marks in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar discipline, preferably with a PhD.
- Basic knowledge of SQL Databases.
- Proficiency in software development, either in Java or in C# or in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Skills in one of the popular frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
- Initial experience with the containerized deployment of such applications in cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or Cloud Foundry.
- Excellent command of the English language and technical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good command of the German language.
- Experience with Hibernate ORM, Java Spring/SpringBoot or Quarkus.
- Experience in web application and microservice development with either Java EE, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript in the backend and one of the popular frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue in the frontend.
- Experience with cloud management and services such as Azure, AWS, or Cloud Foundry.
- Experience in design patterns.
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaborations.
