Job Summary:
Acts as a key leader in the development and execution of software quality methods and processes. Typically responsible for tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance standards

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and document software test plans using both automated and manual testing to ensure products meet design specifications
  • Assist with transforming manual test documentation into automated test scripts
  • Present progress and results of automated testing efforts to appropriate teams
  • Continuously improve upon the productivity and efficiency of our testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques
  • Utilizes test standards, procedures and functional specifications for approaches
  • Setup/configure/maintain automated testing environments in a continuous integration setting
  • Stay current on new technologies and best practices as appropriate
  • Coach, mentor, and support other software quality engineers
  • Communicate effectively, manage conflict amongst team members, and remove impediments
  • Provides technical and architectural direction, roadmaps and implementation strategies

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
  • Experience in DevOps Engineering, team management, and collaboration
  • Experience in DevOps using test automation and CI/CD tools, containers, cloud infrastructure, and other modern technologies, CI/CD pipeline set up from scratch as DevOps lead
  • Experience with IaaS (Terraform) implementing scalable cloud / On-prem based environments and systems; service-oriented architectures and microservices; deploying resilient, scalable, high-throughput systems.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes for enterprise SaaS and on-prem applications using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitLabs etc.
  • Manage and or Participate in the deployment and release of development, test and production software builds
  • Manage the operations and monitoring of applications and infrastructure from dev to production.
  • Java/J2EE Application Development, Client and Server
  • Web Development technologies, including JavaScript (and associated libraries), HTML5 and CSS3
  • Very strong data analytics, critical thinking, deductive reasoning and debugging skills
  • Scientific mindset: ability to design and implement data-driven experiments and solutions                                                                       
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership and  teamwork skills
  • Tools support Consumer Drive Contract (CDC), Service and Data Virtualization
  • Very good experience in Consumer Driven Contract (CDC), Testing in Isolation, Service and Data Virtualization Concepts
  • Experience in understanding the strategic vision and delivering superior quality software as well as architectural deliverables meeting business and customer needs
  • Work with Enterprise architects to incorporate long term architecture goals throughout the SDLC (waterfall, Agile etc.,)
  • Ability to work and negotiate with technical and non-technical coworkers to accomplish goals
  • Requires a passionate interest in keeping current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Strong architectural & design skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management, professionals, technical and support groups
  • Willingness and experience in mentoring and coaching peers and team members at all levels
  • Strong project management, leadership skills, self-directed and can manage with frequent change
  • Experience in managing our vendor partners and leading them to deliver results

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Four (4) equivalent work experience in computer support or information technology environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.

Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Collierville, TN (Memphis area) 

Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
