Job Summary

At Sumerge, Solution Engineers (Technical Sales) design and deliver tailored solutions that help clients stay ahead of industry trends. Partnering closely with Sales and Engineering, they translate customer needs into scalable outcomes while ensuring smooth adoption and measurable business value.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in software development, pre-sales, or solution design, with solid knowledge of web technologies. They are collaborative communicators who thrive at the intersection of technology and business, guiding clients through their digital transformation journey with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technical consulting process for assigned clients by assessing both expressed and hidden needs, recommending fit-for-purpose solutions, and coordinating follow-up support to ensure long-term success.
  • Guide customers through their digital transformation journey by simplifying technology adoption, addressing potential technical roadblocks, and reinforcing Sumerge’s role as a trusted partner.
  • Contribute to the design and recommendation of enterprise architectures and platforms using Sumerge technologies to deliver scalable, efficient, and business-aligned solutions.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to stay informed on industry trends and provide client-driven insights that help shape solution enhancements and maintain competitiveness.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to uncover and pursue new opportunities within existing accounts, strengthening client relationships and supporting revenue growth.
  • Deliver clear, structured, and engaging technical presentations and demos that combine solution capabilities with relevant industry knowledge to build client confidence and enable informed decisions.
  • Own the preparation of proposals and responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs by producing accurate, compelling, and customer-aligned technical content that improves win rates.
