Spatial Front, Inc - Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the Role

Spatial Front Inc. is seeking a fully remote, hands-on Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong front-end expertise in Angular and/or React and backend development experience building Node.js REST APIs. As a key member of the team, the engineer will lead or contribute to the architecture and design of software solutions while collaborating closely with customers, stakeholders, and development teams. The role supports a wide range of software development activities, including:

• Requirements analysis and technical solutioning, System and application architecture design, Detailed software design and development, Implementation, testing, and debugging, Integration and ongoing system support for new and existing applications

The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working across the full technology stack.

• Develop and maintain high-performance Angular, React, and Vue front-end components
• Design, architect, and maintain web applications, software support, and debugging
• Develop reusable UI components and front-end libraries
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and third-party APIs
• Work with Okta or other Similar Authentication services
• Work on AWS services, specifically AWS Lambda and AWS ECS
• Develop and deploy serverless backend services with AWS Lambda using NodeJS and/or Python
• Be able to lead/work independently on front end Application development
• Interface with senior-level customer management and SMEs
• Resolve complex design, implementation, and/or performance issues.
• Work with the Information Security Organization to ensure that the developed solutions meet all security requirements.
• Support all development and delivery activities, from requirements definition and specification to deployment and delivery to production.
• Consult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements; identify areas for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or substitute eight years of additional equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of development experience
• 4+ years of recent Angular 17+ and NodeJS experience 
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Web applications, REST API development, and deployment
• Experienced in Microservice design and development
• Strong experience in scripting using Linux and other CLI tools
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Serverless architecture
• Experience with recent Java & Spring Boot development experience
• Proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS strongly preferred)
• Experience in applying Agile/Scrum methodology
• Node.js
• Angular
• Python
• Database migration experience

Nice to have Skills & Qualifications

• Design, develop, test, and integrate custom Java applications, developing innovative, scalable, and secure enterprise custom applications. 
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases 
• Use Linux environments and shell scripts for maintenance and debugging

• Work Environment: Flexible/remote.
• The salary for this position is $105,000 - $160,000 annually
