Experience: 5+ years and minimum of 6-12 months in Splunk

 

Job Description

  • Create Search Strings/queries, Reports and Dashboards using SPL, Python, Java

  • Test and deploy reporting solutions for various IT Operations Used Cases

  • Work with cross-functional teams and Provide Business Process and Functional perspective on “Analytics for Operations”

  • Requirement gathering for new reporting requests and data queries from Users

  • Lead and execute analytical activities (data discovery, cleansing and data prep) to support development of new data science approaches and methodologies (e.g. Splunk, Business Objects, Hadoop, ServiceNow, etc.) to improve operations and build outcomes

  • Maintain effective working relationship with IT leaders, stakeholders, users, vendors and partners to integrate programs into overall strategic objectives

  • Effectively communicate (i.e. status, issues, and escalations) to leadership and other various levels of the organization
