We’re Hiring! Our key client in the Legal industry is looking for additional members to their team. We have an SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist role on the team.

Pay Rate: $80.00/hour on W2
Work Type: Remote – 50 miles within Approved Hub Locations
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | flexible
Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension

Job Overview:
  • Working as part of a high functioning team, the SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing, supporting, and optimizing robust solutions in SQL Server for Legal Services projects.
  • Defines and develops solutions with minimal direction through collaboration with Solutions Architects and consultation with Project Managers.
  • Thinks strategically, with an equal focus on developing and communicating practical solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Is detail oriented but flexible, ready to adapt to changing needs and priorities, cycling in and out of projects and embracing alternative paths to solutions.
  • Enjoys the challenge of solving complex (and potentially under-defined) problems as a member of a high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems.
  • Determine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements.
  • Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project.
  • Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in leading the development of technical solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the business.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with peers, managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in consultative interactions, able to clearly and confidently articulate both challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must enjoy and have experience working in a fast-paced environment, able to quickly realign with shifting priorities.
Technical Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases.
  • Advanced/expert level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of T-SQL code.
  • Proficient in tuning T-SQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performance.
  • Experience performing complex data analysis of very large datasets.
