You will:
- Design and implement NodeJS backend component and APIs
- Develop and own the applicationAPI layer
- Organize code to make the API layer scalable, robust and secure
- Deploy and architect services in AWS infrastructure
- Continuously integrate, unit test, and use automation to ensure stable deliverables
Technical skills:
- Relevant experience with NodeJS framework OR
- 5+ years professional experience of Java/J2EE development and deep knowledge of JavaScript
- Clear understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
Experience level
- BS in Computer Science, Computer/ Engineering or equivalent
- Strong Java programming skills
- Strong experience with using Relational Databases (MySQL/Postgres)
- Strong experience with API design
Other areas of competency
- Exposure to AWS infrastructure and deployment is a plus
- Expertise with testing (unit tests, integration tests, etc.)
- Experience in an environment with rapid product development cycles
- Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
