Senior Back End Engineer – node.js/Python: Venice Beach, CA

Cargomatic is in search of a Senior node.js and Python Back End Engineer passionately interested in building highly-scalable event-driven components for a real-time platform. Do you have experience in enterprise-grade applications, with real-world usage? Are you an expert in Python & Node.js? As an Engineer are you active on GitHub and willing to share projects/contributions? Our ideal Senior Software Engineer is constantly trying out new languages and frameworks outside of work: Scala, Clojure, Akka, React.js, Angular, Erlang,and Ember. Even better is actual real project experience with these languages.

Requirements:
- 5+ years Software Engineer experience
- S. degree in Engineering or related experience.
- Previously developed RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with and recognize the benefits of a Micro Services Architecture
- Expertise in Node.js/Express, Python, Scala & Java, MongoDB, Redis
