Job description

At Concentrix, we are looking for a Backend Engineer (Python) to join a dynamic and high-impact project. If you are passionate about building scalable backend services, working with modern technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
  • Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL queries
  • Debug, test, and improve applications running in Linux environments
  • Contribute to improving and modernizing existing codebases
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Document technical solutions clearly when needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver features

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience with Python
  • Experience building backend services or APIs
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments
  • Experience working with Git and collaborative workflows
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Nice to Have

  • Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Interest in automation or AI-powered workflows
  • Experience improving or refactoring existing systems
