Role Description
Job Title: Salesforce Developer Designation: Sr. Developer
Location: Bangalore SEZ Tower E
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Salesforce.com and its ecosystem, enabling them to design, develop, and implement solutions that enhance our business processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications and solutions tailored to business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Implement Salesforce best practices and ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.
- Develop custom Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
- Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and services using APIs and middleware.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and performance.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Salesforce applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and enhancements, recommending improvements to existing systems.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows for future reference.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com, including configuration, customization, and development.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning frameworks.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data model and security features.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Communities and Experience Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II) are a plus.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
