  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, circuit designs, and system documentation.

  • Support electrical architecture development for new product development programs, including both high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.

  • Design and specify electrical components including breakers, fuses, relays, wiring, conductors, insulation, and other power distribution hardware.

  • Perform electrical system analysis including voltage, current draw, conductor sizing, protection device selection, and circuit performance.

  • Support development of electrical control systems utilizing industrial PLC platforms and embedded control technologies.

  • Participate in development of next-generation passenger boarding bridge, ground power, and pre-conditioned air products.

  • Support electrical integration of third-party technologies and strategic product partnerships.

  • Provide technical support during prototype, pilot, validation, and production builds while assisting with troubleshooting and manufacturing issue resolution.

  • Support engineering investigations, root cause analysis, design improvements, and implementation of corrective actions.

  • Responsible for a project or portions of multiple projects of limited to moderate complexity.

  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, software, manufacturing, systems, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Work across multiple product families within the NPD organization, providing engineering support where business priorities require.

  • Collaborate with suppliers regarding electrical components, specifications, and design solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers, designers, and technicians working on shared projects.

  • Support design reviews, engineering documentation, validation activities, and product releases.
