Role Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Full-stack Developer to join our dynamic team as a Delivery Module Lead. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Java and AWS, with a particular emphasis on PostgreSQL database management and DBA-like skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage serverless architectures and implement robust unit testing practices. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and AWS technologies.
- Implement and manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Utilize ROSA Messaging (MQ & other) for effective communication between services.
- Develop serverless applications and microservices to enhance system efficiency.
- Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality through best practices and automated testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in Java programming language.
- Strong experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and administration.
- Familiarity with ROSA Messaging (MQ & other) for message-driven architectures.
- Experience in developing serverless applications.
- Solid understanding of unit testing methodologies and frameworks.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
