Location: Base location Chennai/ Delhi - Remote (working from co-working office a few days each month)

Overview and purpose of the role:
The Developer will be responsible for developing and designing, backend development and ensuring the responsiveness of applications. You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and comfortable agile methodology for development. Have exposure to DevOps and Test Driven Development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Write effective APIs
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Write technical documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Developer or similar role
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Extensive Knowledge of Java along with Spring Boot Framework, JPA
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks. Preferrable VueJs. Angular, React experience will also be considered.
- Extensive experience on automated testing using Junit, RestAssured and Cypress
- Familiarity with TDD, feature file creation and conversion to test cases
- Familiarity with databases (Postgres SQL), web servers and UI/UX design
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
- Familiarity with Jasper
- Experience of working in DevOps and Agile environment. Preferably conversant with Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence
- Excellent communication, teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
