Job Description

Job Role: Sr.Java Developer
Skills Required:
Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, Datadog or Splunk

Job Location: Bangalore, WFO

Experience: 7-10 years

Job Description:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

Over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing software projects in web services environments with open-source frameworks

Strong expertise in Java development, including OO design patterns and coding best practices

Hands-on experience with APIs for microservices architecture, Java/J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Kafka, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST)

Proficiency in Kafka or similar event-streaming technology

Experience working with middleware integrations like ETL, ESB, SOAP, and XML

Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP)

Additional experience in REST, MVC, Tomcat, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Maven, Ant is an advantage

4+ years of experience in RDBMS design/development (SQL Server, Oracle); knowledge of NoSQL DBs is preferred

Exposure to ETL transformations and ESB technology is a plus

Working knowledge of AWS services (Docker ECS, ALB, S3) preferred

Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, etc.

Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Leadership capabilities, including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation

Ability to challenge existing processes and influence change
