Description:
Certified Expert Senior Mendix developer will be part of Risk and Investments IT team and primarily be responsible for leading efforts to implement Mendix Business Systems solutions using best practices.
Developer will perform analysis of current Mendix Apps, review current development and testing practices , review third party integrations and User experience and Mendix data model transformation improvements need and then produce plan to steer the team towards strategic direction with hands-on refactoring or re-engineering efforts.
The role will closely work with Mendix expert services, Enterprise Architects, Data engineering team and senior business and IT leads to define, design, and build next generation Mendix platform-based business systems.
The role will follow modern SDLC principles, test driven development and source code reviews and change control standards to maintain compliance with policies. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical ability, excellent communication and collaboration skills including the ability to develop and troubleshoot a diverse range of problems.

Required Technical Qualifications and Experience:
• At least "Expert Developer Certification" or "Advanced Developer Certification"
Specific Mendix platform-based responsibilities ( including below but not limited ) are:
• Mendix 9 Conversion
• UX improvements
• Develop Custom Private App store widgets
• Custom JavaScript extensions and custom style sheets using Calypso
• User Profile configurations to save theme (fonts, dark mode etc) preferences
• Create different themes to distinguish test/acceptance from prod to avoid mistakes.
• Configure central Mendix SSO for all our Apps
• Implement Unit Tests for existing functionality and enforce adoption by team
• Evaluate ATS ( Application Test Suite) , onboard and configure it.
• Evaluate AQM ( Application Quality Monitor )
• Assist team with debugging complex production issues
• Setup local postgresql server for common localhost testing across all Apps Branches
• Assess ETL logic coded in Mendix and recommend best practices and implement refactoring if required.
• Work with Enterprise Data team to lead Data warehousing solution using Odata server interface for Redshift.
• Create Mobile friendly pages , ensure Information Security for access from outside VDI
• Build native Mobile Apps with ability to take actions offline
• Review current Datahub usage and lead the effort to onboard DataHub capabilities within the firm.
• Review Cross App REST API calls and lead efforts to leverage Mendix “Workflow” to manage/monitor Cross App communication.
