Title: Sr. Processing Operator

Required Shift:

12 hour 2-2-3 Rotating Shift

C Shift

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Job Purpose:

The Sr. Processing Operator will be responsible for the performance, processes, equipment, and operational decisions at line level to achieve targets and coordinate resources as required. The Sr. Processing Operator will be first point of contact for any technical issues with production machinery and will be expected to take the lead in repairing mechanical breakdowns. Leading, coaching, and training associates dedicated to your line.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have met time in role (12+ Months)
  • Must have line manager approval to apply
  • Must be in good standing in current role
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience operating and maintaining high-speed production machinery in a manufacturing/production environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
  • Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write basic work-related English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or certifications
  • 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining high-speed production machinery in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Strong understanding of all GMP’s, PPE’s and quality checks

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

  • Coordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targets.
  • Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery.
  • Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
  • Assisting operators with daily productions tasks to ensure line targets are met.
