Your expertise in product development, management, and cross-functional collaboration will be critical in ensuring the seamless execution and market success of our cutting-edge products.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

Product Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, features, and functionality.

Determine technology readiness and determine development roadmaps.

Product Development and Management:

Lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring product design, specifications, and development meet the highest standards.

Oversee and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing, to drive seamless product development and delivery.

Partner directly with engineering teams, and use engineering first principles to inform risks, timelines and product plans.

Project Management:

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for product development initiatives.

Monitor project progress and coordinate with various teams to ensure timely delivery of product milestones.

Address any roadblocks or challenges that may arise during product development and propose effective solutions.

Market Launch and Distribution:

Collaborate with marketing and go-to-market teams to develop launch strategies for new products.

Identify and establish critical relationships with contract manufacturing partners to realize new products for mass production.

Coordinate with internal distribution, sales platforms and online storefront resources to ensure products are efficiently delivered to customers.

Product Lifecycle Management:

Take ownership of the product lifecycle, from inception through production, release, and eventual end-of-life planning.

Identify opportunities for product improvements, upgrades, and modifications to enhance customer satisfaction and meet market demands.

Manage product-related risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

You'll have...

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Proven experience (8+ years) as a Project Manager or in a similar role in the technology or automotive industry.

Strong understanding of product development processes and product lifecycle management.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy effectively.

Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decision-making.

A track record of successfully launching and managing products in a dynamic and competitive market.

Leadership skills to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving common goals.
