Description

Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Health System, Everett. Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire

  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire

  • Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.

  • 1 year of Prior Sterile Processing Tech experience in a hospital setting.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
