Our client, one of South Africa's leading banking institutions, is looking for an experienced Intermediate / Senior QlikView Developer to join their team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing executive-level reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making by senior leadership, including Exco and Board members.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QlikView development, data modelling, dashboard design, and business intelligence within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain QlikView dashboards and reports.
  
• Build executive reporting solutions for Exco and Board-level stakeholders.
  
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Develop efficient QlikView data models and optimize application performance.
  
• Create reusable scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and databases.
  
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting solutions.
  
• Optimize existing QlikView applications to improve performance and usability.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data-related issues.
  
• Work closely with business analysts, data teams, and business stakeholders.
  
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer where required.
  
• Adhere to governance, security, and development best practices.
  

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• 5+ years' experience developing Business Intelligence solutions.
  
• 4+ years' hands-on QlikView development experience.
  
• Proven experience developing executive and management reporting dashboards.
  
• Experience working within large enterprise or banking environments is highly advantageous.
