About the Role:

  • Perform engineering analysis and design of MSE wall systems, including global stability, internal stability, external stability, and connection design.  Consult with outside engineering firms as needed.

  • Provide design support, specifications, solution development, installation guidance, and project‑cycle problem‑solving for our internal sales team, clients, and customers.

  • Build strong relationships with project managers, geotechnical engineers, civil engineers, contractors, operations teams, and QA/QC personnel to ensure project success.

  • Communicate key metrics, recommendations, and technical insights to senior leadership.

  • Contribute to process improvements, strategic initiatives, and the development of tools that enhance engineering efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with plant managers, clerks, project managers on project status updates and product specifications, testing, and improvements.

  • Manage outside client/customer projects through all stages; take-off, submittal, preconstruction meetings, field resolution and installation support as needed.

  • Review drawings and calculations for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering intent and applicable standards.

  • Respond to field inquiries and coordinate timely, practical solutions that support both customer needs and business objectives.

  • Manage State DOT approvals, QPL, APL, as required for Vist-A-Wall precast and wire walls.

  • Maintain working knowledge of relevant codes and standards: AASHTO, FHWA MSE wall design guidance, ASCE 7, ACI, and other applicable specifications.
