Description
The Engineering Design Technology Program is seeking a motivated student worker to support faculty, staff, and students. Responsibilities include assisting with tutoring, providing grading and administrative support, helping with laboratory activities and 3D printing, assisting with recruitment events, welcoming employers and industry partners during campus visits, and performing other office-and program-related duties as assigned.
Examples of Duties
Duties Include:
- Tutor Engineering Design Technology students.
- Assist faculty with grading, course materials, and administrative tasks.
- Assist with laboratory activities, equipment maintenance, and 3D printing.
- Help with recruitment events, campus tours, and employer visits.
- Assist with program events and perform other related duties as assigned.
Typical Qualifications
Education:
- Currently enrolled at the University of Central Missouri.
- Engineering Design Technology (Design & Drafting Technology) major or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Experience with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, MicroStation, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.) and 3D printing preferred
- Friendly and professional attitude when interacting with students, faculty, and industry partners
Supplemental Information
Working Hours and Days:
- TBD based on student class schedule
- No more than 20 hours per week
