Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the HUMAN CAPITAL DIRECORATE; N1 of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE GROUP EIGHT.

Duties

  • You will develop a single, unified human capital doctrine following the command's major 2021 merger; this involves analyzing conflicting manpower models from legacy commands and resolving incompatible career paths.
  • You will originate new techniques for talent management, including authoring new MILPERSMAN policy from scratch for the command's unique special handling billets.
  • You will continuously analyzes higher-echelon manpower mandates and makes authoritative recommendations on organizational structure to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • You will provide strategic oversight of the subordinate Recruiting and Manning (RAM) program and establishing the command's framework for assessing and selecting its specialized workforce.
  • You will support promotion and selection boards, resolves complex records issues for senior personnel to ensure leadership continuity, and provides expert counsel to the command's most senior leaders.
  • You will be responsible for all supervisory duties, including performance management, employee development, and disciplinary actions for a mixed workforce of military and civilian personnel.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrating senior-level experience providing independent leadership and expert advisory support in workforce management, manpower analysis, and strategic force design; developing and implementing personnel policies and organizational guidance; negotiating formal workforce agreements with senior military organizations; applying complex military manpower, personnel, and promotion policies; and supervising a combined military and civilian workforce, including performance management, employee development, and disciplinary actions.
