Key Responsibilities
- Platform Support and Maintenance
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Python-based applications developed with Django and Flask frameworks.
- Troubleshoot issues related to APIs, ONVIF protocols, and real-time communication using Socket APIs.
- Incident Management and Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and recommend preventive measures.
- Database Operations
- Support database performance by analyzing and optimizing PostgreSQL queries, stored procedures, and data integrity.
- Cloud and Deployment Management
- Collaborate with cloud platform teams (AWS, Azure DevOps) to monitor, deploy, and manage services.
- Resolve deployment issues and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform updates.
- Edge Device Support
- Provide support for edge-based solutions involving devices like Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, etc.
- Assist with MQTT/CID messaging protocol implementation for seamless device communication.
- Client Interaction and Training
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing their technical queries and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Deliver training sessions and create user-friendly documentation for platform features.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain and update technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Generate detailed reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Python application support or development.
- Strong understanding of Django, Flask, and API development.
- Experience with ONVIF protocols for video streaming and device control.
- Proficiency with Socket APIs for real-time communication and integration.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL for query optimization and database management.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and repository management.
- Experience with edge-based device setups (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano).
- Knowledge of MQTT/CID messaging protocols and their application in device communication.

- Exposure to surveillance systems and IP camera integration.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
