Job Location: Vidalia, GA or Savannah, GA / On the Road
The Support Technician is an entry-level position. The candidate will assist more senior technicians with installations and/or servicing of residential and/or commercial customers as required. Responsibilities also include a willingness and ability to learn, organizational skills and effective communications.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Experienced Technicians with Installations and/or Servicing:
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and retain information for future use.
- Employ basic logic skills and ability to walk through a simple issue to resolution.
- Utilize hand tools and basic power tools.
- Keep job site clean & organized so work can be performed in the safest manner possible, and tools and equipment can be found quickly.
- Interact with and communicate with peers, manager, and customers effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. No industry experience - Required.
- Receives skills and training from management, peers, and training curriculum.
- Certification/License:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Communication:
- Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
- Technical:
- Must be able to understand technical functionality of various systems learned on-line and/or via hands-on instruction.
