Ensure smooth continuous operation of Fixed Solutions’ cloud infrastructure
environments, both on premises and on the cloud. - Ensure that Fixed Solutions cloud infrastructure environments achieve the highest
possible levels of security, availability, scalability, resilience, maintainability and
resource efficiency. - Ensure the protection of the confidentiality, availability and integrity of Fixed Solutions
and customers’ data. - Mange SysOps team.
- Ensure the technical soundness of SysOps team’s activities.
- Responsibilities
- Create SysOps’ team shift roster.
- Modify the SysOps’ shift roster in response to emergencies.
- Ensure all resources required to enable the SysOps team to fulfill their responsibilities
are in place. - Manage SysOps team capabilities development plans
- Coach SysOps team members on fulfilling their responsibilities.
- Monitor SysOps team activities and ensure all tasks required from the team are
performed in time and with the right quality. - Review SysOps team activities to ensure sound technical and business practices are
followed. - Ensure backups are performed according to plan and other data loss prevention
measures are functioning correctly. - Initiate recruitment of SysOps team members in accordance with the company’s
business plan and take part in SysOps team recruitment activities. - Monitor Fixed Solution’s infrastructure performance and initiate action to rectify any
current or foreseen issues. - Ensure documentation activities are being performed by the SysOps team and that all
documentation are up to date and in compliance with Fixed Solutions’ documentation
standards. - Communicate major issues affecting or expected to affect Fixed Solution’s
infrastructure to the System Engineering Consultants and System architects and
following up to ensure any required actions to address these issues are being taken. - Develop; in coordination with DevOps and Network teams; plans for customer services
and internal services deployment and ensure these plans are being followed.

- Excellent experience in administrating the Linux Operating System
- Excellent experience in managing large scale application hosting environments
- Very good experience in managing 24*7 operations.
- Very good experience in working with Free and Open Source infrastructure
applications, databases and technology stacks (Nginx, iptables, MySQL, MariaDB,
MongoDB, ELK, etc…) - Good knowledge of scripting and automation.
- Good knowledge of networking technology
- Good knowledge of information security tools and practices.
- Education and Training
- B Sc. In computer science, computer engineering, information technology or
equivalent. - Professional Linux training or certification is a plus
- Professional network training or certification is a plus
