Job Description:

RAN/RF Engineering Design Leadership

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Radio Access Network (RAN) and Radio Frequency (RF) engineering, leading Layer 2 (L2) engineering design planning—including capacity planning, parameter design, and performance optimization.

Engineering Design Planning (EDP) Ownership

Drive end-to-end Engineering Design Planning (EDP) processes by translating network requirements into scalable L2 design architectures, ensuring alignment with coverage, capacity, and quality KPIs.

System Engineering & Cross-Functional Integration

Act as a System Engineer bridging RAN design, transport, and core systems, ensuring seamless integration across network layers and validating design compliance with industry standards and deployment constraints.

Software Development Guidance & Technical Oversight

Collaborate with software development teams to define requirements, guide feature development, and ensure RAN/L2 functionalities are correctly implemented, tested, and aligned with real-world network design use cases.

Technical Strategy, Governance & Mentorship

Establish best practices, design standards, and governance frameworks; mentor junior engineers; and provide strategic direction on evolving RAN technologies (e.g., Open RAN, 5G/6G evolution, automation in design planning).

The pay range for this role is $100,000- $110,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
